A policy that reimburses ransom payments, costs incurred in negotiating and provides access to professional response consultants. Both domestic cover and worldwide is available. Confidential and effective, the policy provides a support system for those who suffer kidnap or extortion threats or actual events. We encourage communication at the first incling of trouble to assist in prevention as well as post-event rehabilitation. The challenges posed by a threat to harm family, staff or property is hard to manage and often hard to substantiate. This benefit, contained within the standard kidnap policy, provides fees and expenses for professional response consultants to respond with advice, coordination with law enforcement, deployment of physical security and compilation of information that can be used to combat a threat. Not a stand alone product and part of the main kidnap policy but this benefit alone should be attractive to all human resource departments and management as an adjunct to their EPLI policies. Stalking and harrassment is included in this definition.
